In the 2025/2026 academic year, the Leslie Lab has a number of undergraduate students drawn from diverse programs. Four are completing undergraduate theses and others are in two co-op programs. Each undergraduate thesis student has a designated graduate student or post doc who is their day-to-day partner in the lab. Three thesis students are carrying out their PHYS 449 theses, with two enrolled in the honours biophysics program and one in the majors physics program. These students have prepared for their theses by taking PHYS 305, Introduction to Biophysics, as well as at least one summer project with the lab for hands-on training. A fourth undergraduate thesis student is from the SBME program, who completed summer work-learn research in advance. In addition to thesis students, the lab attracts co-op students whom are paired with with staff as day-to-day mentors. These include Pharm Sci internship co-op and Biotalent co-op students with applied projects.
